K. Horton Specialty Foods is acclaimed as the “finest cheese shop north of Boston,” with over 200 international cheeses available, as well as the unique Maine cheeses produced by the artisanal cheese makers  throughout Maine.   The finest smoked salmon produced in Maine is sold through the shop, as well as other hard to find smoked products, such as eel, trout, whitefish, and many others.  The shop carries over 15 varieties of olives, many superb olive oils, and all complementary products, such as mustards and preserves that match with the cheeses and seafood available at the shop.

Kris and her staff can provide anything from simple orders of unique Maine cheese or smoked seafood, to platters for conferences, lunch meetings, or parties.  She can provide wisdom on matching her products with appropriate wines and assist in planning for major events.
